Pete was born in Berlin Germany on August 22nd, 1932. His mother was Ingeborg Klewer and his father was Max Klewer. While in Germany, he completed both high school and college all while being a top A student. He later became a Diesel Mechanic. He moved to the United States in 1962 to follow his dreams and open up his own shop (Dixie).
